Mission and Outreach

I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me...just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.

-- Matthew 25

We believe we are called to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and walk in the way of compassion, peace and justice.

Our Mission and outreach attempts include:

Reaching out to those in need - to feed the hungry and assist those who need help

Advocacy - to speak for the vulnerable and the voiceless, to speak truth to power

Justice - to work toward a world where resources are shared, where basic need are met, equality and dignity is the experience of all

Peace - to work for a world where interfaith and intercultural, interracial differences are celebrated
